Location Makri, Evros Prefecture. Old olive grove, the northernmost in Greece, close to the sea.

 

Variety 100% maroneianische variety PDO Makri

 

Product of organic farming, extra virgin olive oil, made from the 100% Maroneian macri olives with a very low acidity of 0.14%
Strict environmental regulations are followed throughout the production process of this exceptional extra virgin olive oil.
The olives come from our own olive groves, which are certified organic by the Greek Organization for the Inspection and Certification of Organic Products.

They are harvested in mid to late October. The oil is extracted on the same day in our certified organic olive mill.
The advantage of our extra virgin olive oil is that we have full control over every single phase of the production process, from growing the olive grove to extracting the oil in our own mill and bottling it on our premises.
In this way we can guarantee the consistent quality of our oil.

 

Production capacity approx. 20 tons

 

Organoleptic properties It is characterized by a medium to high intensity fruitiness with enhanced tones of fresh green olives and green banana, artichokes and freshly cut grass. Its color is light green. Whole body, slightly bitter, pleasant aftertaste.
